Network Donation Policy
The costs of maintaining a website are expensive - and the costs of maintaining a whole network of them even more so. As we ask for donations and support funds on Roleplay Hub, Vault 713, and Second City, we have created this page to outline the full details of our approach and policies regarding the acceptance of donated funds.
Donation Definition
- The Roleplay Hub Network defines a donation as any contribution of funds that is not in exchange for goods or a service. At times we will offer rewards in exchange for donations such as extra forum features, but will clearly note that these things are considered donations.
Any purchases of "real life" goods such as T-Shirts, Buttons, Stickers, or other items will not be considered donations, though supporter rewards may still be offered in exchange for purchase.
Use of Funds
- Any funds acquired as donations can be appropriated for - but not limited to - funding hosting and server fees, domain registration, software purchase and upgrade, office rental and utilities, promotional materials, and/or outsourcing content creation.
Please note that funds contributed to any Roleplay Hub Network site may be used to fund any site officially owned by the network, as well as those that may still be in development for or by the network. Refunds are not ordinarily issued as donations are considered a willing contribution to the upkeep of the network without expectation of compensation.
Collection of Personal Information
- All donations are handled through a PayPal.com gateway. The Roleplay Hub Network is not given any information that you do not include with your donation, regardless of it's inclusion on your PayPal profile. Please note that we may have access to your name, address, email address, and/or phone number if it is included with your PayPal donation, but this information will not be used in any way other than to process your contribution. All donations should include a Roleplay Hub username if you wish to receive any applicable rewards.
Non-Digital Transfer of Funds
- Should any person wish to contribute to the Roleplay Hub Network or any of it's websites without use of PayPal or any other site, we do accept funds sent via the postal service to the following address:

Checks and money orders can be made payable to Manda Collis, with "Roleplay Hub" put in the memo line. Cash donations will be accepted, but are discouraged. If you insist on a cash donation, we suggest sending it inside of a greeting card for safety.
The Roleplay Hub staff team is not responsible for any funds lost in transit or misplaced by the postal service. If you have made a donation by mail, we suggest sending a private message to mandarific on the Roleplay Hub forum with your name, the date the donation was sent, and the amount. A message will be sent to you upon receipt of the donation.
